I recommend ordering your matted prints from a professional lab, so that you can be sure they are printed on high-quality paper. I also recommend ordering them in a size that is at least double the size of the frame you plan to put them in. This way, you can trim the mat board to fit your frame, and you won’t have any white space around your photo.

These are not the best long-term investment as the image is directly printed onto the canvas which is then stretched onto a wooden frame and has an unfinished back too! Over time, these consumer grade canvases are known to sag and fade given the low quality of materials used.
