Congratulations!! Pregnancy is beautiful and even though you might not feel beautiful right now, my job is to document this phase of your life so one day your child can look at your maternity portraits and see how beautiful you truly looked while nurturing them in your baby belly.

As a San Francisco maternity photographer, I travel all over the Bay Area, from San Francisco to San Jose and even East Bay (Berkeley and Fremont) for outdoor maternity sessions. Studio maternity sessions are held in my studio in Belmont.
Maternity portraits are best done between 32-34 weeks of pregnancy. I have a selection of maternity gowns as a part of my studio wardrobe that you’re welcome to choose from for the session.

2. Session Planning
We meet in person to plan and choose the location, and your outfits from my client wardrobe.
3. Shoot Day
From complimentary hair and make-up to catered lunch at the studio- I’m here to make this an easy and relaxed shoot day
4. Ordering Appt
We will do a virtual ordering appointment where we’ll select your fav images from the gallery and design your artwork.
5. Enjoy Your Photos!
I will hand deliver your final prints and artwork and even come install your gallery walls for you so you don’t have to!

Maternity sessions are all-inclusive and start at $2,400, with complimentary hair and makeup for mom, full access to our studio wardrobe, and hand-delivered wall art that we design and install in your home.

A: Maternity portraits are best done between 32 and 34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully round and you’re still comfortable moving freely. Book in your second trimester to secure your preferred date.
Q: Can my partner and children be included in the maternity photos?
A: Yes. Most maternity sessions include a mix of solo portraits and family groupings with your partner and children, and those family moments are some of the most treasured images from the session.
Q: What should I wear for a maternity photoshoot?
A: You don’t need to bring anything. Golden Shutter Portraits has a full selection of maternity gowns in the studio client wardrobe, and Kirtana helps you choose based on your style and the location. Complimentary hair and makeup is included.
Q: Do you offer both studio and outdoor maternity sessions in the Bay Area?
A: Yes. Studio sessions are held at the Belmont studio, and outdoor sessions are shot on location at golden hour throughout the Bay Area, from Half Moon Bay to San Francisco and the East Bay.
