One of my favorite sessions of 2019 (so far!) was with Baby Z. Her mommy and daddy found me through a common friend and I was so glad they did! We did the session in my Belmont studio. She was such a dream to work with. We started of with simple bean bag poses and went on to more wrapped portraits of her in props and on the flokati. She looks like a perfect doll in that bonnet!

For every session, I start of with more posed pictures but move towards a more unposed flow towards the end of the session. This allows me to capture some candid and simple shots of the baby that make for beautiful portraits- no props or outfits to distract, these are all about the baby alone! A lot of my clients lately, seem to love these unposed portraits and have pulled out these portraits to display as wall art in their homes vs. adding them to their album.
